Supercomputer predicts where Nottingham Forest will finish in 2023/24 Premier League table

The 2023/24 Premier League fixtures have only just been released, but already there is plenty of talk about how Nottingham Forest will fare.

Steve Cooper’s side finished 16th in their first season back in the top-flight after a 23-year absence, having secured survival with a game to spare. The aim now is to build on that platform.

Progress can be measured in a number of ways, however. And if the prediction of a supercomputer is anything to go by, climbing the table will be tough for the Reds.

Following the publication of next term’s schedule, King Casino Bonus have predicted how the final table will look. Analysing betting markets, they have projected how the upcoming campaign will unfold – and they have Forest finishing in the same position as they managed in 2022/23.

Two of the three newly-promoted teams, in Luton Town and Sheffield United, are predicted to go straight back down, alongside Bournemouth. Meanwhile, Manchester City are tipped to be crowned champions again, albeit with Liverpool running them close.

Forest have been handed a tough start to the new campaign. Cooper’s bid to improve their away form will be tested very early on, with three of his team’s first four games on the road.

They open with a trip to face Arsenal, then visit Manchester United and Chelsea soon after.

The Reds’ first home game of the season will be against the Blades. Taking on Burnley at Turf Moor is how they will round off the term.a
